We’ve been surfing on the gm-wagmi wagon for 18 months, but this is our first project totally in line with the web3 culture. Trying to mix the memes, the tech, the spirit, the future, the mystery…. But mostly just the joy of making long exposure art in our studio using the 176 cameras.
This is a technique we’ve been working on for the past ten years, but as you can guess, there is still so much to explore with it. This is our playground during the cold winter days in Montreal.
Ok we’re switching roles today! I’m the model, and Kim is going to light-paint on me. But we’re also swapping clothes!! That’s a bit tight for me. And wait, did she go on a paint job with this hoodie? Oh crap, let’s ignore this one
But what’s happening today? We’re gonna try to do one set of five long exposures in full 360 degrees using our 176 cameras. The goal is to blend these five individual shots to create a 7-second glitchy perfect loop. Eric has to stay still the whole time, even between the shots, otherwise, this is not going to work at all. All shots need to align perfectly on top of each other to blend seamlessly.
